NOW CASTING FOR “FIRST DAY”

We are searching for a transgender girl aged 11-14 to act in the lead role of Hannah in a TV episode called First Day. Hannah can be of any cultural background, from anywhere in Australia.

First Day is directed by Julie Kalceff (Starting from Now) and produced by Epic Films (Goober, Wastelander Panda). The show will be broadcast on Australian television in late 2017.

It’s Hannah’s first day of high school. It’s also the first day she’ll wear a girl’s school uniform and go by her chosen name instead of the boy’s name she was given at birth.

HOW TO APPLY

To register your interest, please send us an email by Monday May 22nd, with the subject line FIRST DAY CASTING – HANNAH. Include your name, contact details, age, location, and mention any acting experience you have. (Previous acting experience is not required). Please also include a recent photo.
